Two Brothers Drown In Lake Gladewater
Two Starrville brothers Robert Wayne Collier aged 17 and Arthur Wayne Collier aged 15 drowned in more than 20 feet of water below a spillway at Lake Gladewater during an afternoon fishing trip. The bodies were recovered after rescue efforts. They attended Gladewater High School and resided with their parents in Winona. Funeral services were held at Rock Springs Cemetery.
