U S Rep Ray Roberts announced a land and water conservation fund grant of 15500 for Gladewater to develop Lake Gladewater park facilities. Eddie Floyd Derrick of 908 South Main Gay Avenue school student narrowly escaped drowning at Lake Gladewater Monday about 2 pm. Fireman Wayne Smith and another man pulled him from the water, administered mouth to mouth resuscitation, and he was taken by ambulance to City Hospital then transferred to Good Shepherd in Longview.

Police Car 103 Returns After Two-Day Disappearance
