Soften yeast in lukewarm water then pour boiling water over oats. Mix in melted lard molasses and salt and cool. Add yeast and stir in flour then fruit and raisins until a soft dough forms. Knead lightly, rise, divide, and bake at 350 F for 45 to 50 minutes in greased pans.
