Rev Brannen to Lead College Station United Methodist Church

Rev James A Brannen longtime pastor of First United Methodist Church Gladewater announced on January 3 he will become pastor of the A M United Methodist Church in College Station. He and his family plan to move in February to begin new duties.

Fe is a five by five computer unit known as CG 4961 Photo Unit built by Compugraphic Corp. It reads six level hole tapes, translates them into justified columns of text, and prints on photo paper after development. Introduced by the Daily Mirror as part of early computer age printing.

Workshops Planned for January Aide Teacher Workshop

A one day workshop for teacher aides is set at three regional schools in January. The Region VII Education Service Center teams with the EPDA Consortium D to co sponsor the sessions.

Band Parents Meeting and Local Notices

High school band parents are urged to attend a Monday 7 30 pm meeting in the band hall. The Rosedale Cemetery Association holds its annual meeting Tuesday January 12 at 2 pm at Mrs. Lyle Jeter's Ferry Street home. Chamber of Commerce noon meeting is Tuesday at St Clair Restaurant. Bill Owens and Jack Reed donated a memorial gift to Gladewater Public Library for Mrs Iona Trawick. Middle School Student Council sells Cub sweatshirts for 3.00 from any SC member.
