Mrs. Mary Price Dies in Gladewater Family Rites Planned
Mrs. Mary Price, born in Pittsburg on April 24, 1889, died Tuesday at 8 p.m. at Oak Manor. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. at the Dowell Memorial Chapel. Burial is set for Macedonia Cemetery. Survivers include son C. O. Rose of Houston, brother James H. Wright of Dallas, half brother Joe Kennedy of Granite, Oklahoma, and two grandchildren.

Fred Maxey, new owner of Gladewater Country Club, announced the course will reopen for play Friday through Sunday, December 24 to 26, with greens replanted and greensmoothed. The clubhouse has a new roof and remodeling completed. Maxey plans a nearby housing subdivision.

Elmer E Wilson 81 of Warren City died Friday at 9 20 am after a heart attack. Funeral services were held Saturday at 3 pm at First United Methodist Church in Gladewater with Rev. Conrad Winborn officiating. Burial in Gladewater Memorial Park. Survivors include wife Maud son Bob Forrest City Ark daughter Mrs E L Tatum Jennings Lat ive grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Pallbearers listed. honorary pallbearers were Rancho Oil Company employees. He was a World War I veteran, born Sardis Ohio June 11 1890, a 40 year Gladewater resident and retired Rancho Oil Company pumper.
