Gladewater City Councilwill hold a public hearing September 14 1972 at 7 30 p m in City Hall to amend the Zoning Ordinance. The hearing concerns changing the classification of Harley's No 3 area from its current zone to R commercial district. The tract lies within Gladewater city limits and covers about three acres described by metes and bounds near Willow Street and U S Highway 271.

Longview Sailors Do Well In Navy Training And Shipboard Move

The Colonie Hill complex in Hauppauge New York features a 7100 yard golf course and was sold for 20 million dollars after costing 11 million to build. Residents of Omaha joined recycling efforts by collecting bottles to support a Glass Container Manufacturers Institute program. Fall shrimp season opens on Texas bays
The fall shrimp season runs August 15 through December 15 on major Texas bays including Sabine Lake Trinity Galveston East Galveston West Galveston Matagorda Keller East Matagorda Tres Palacios Espiritu Santo San Antonio Ayres Mesquite Aransas Corpus Christi Lavaca from the causeway seaward. Harvesting is allowed day only from a half hour before sunrise to a half hour after sunset. Commercial boats may take any amount if they meet 39 heads-on shrimp or 65 headless per pound. Individual bait shrimp trawl license holders also may fish. Daily limit is 100 pounds.
