Gun blast claims life of Cindy Hammond
Cindy Marie Hammond, 19, of Gladewater, a 1971 Gladewater High School graduate, daughter of Mrs. Juanita Hammond and the late Elvis Hammond, died from a gunshot at her home on Martha Drive around 5 30 a.m. Justice of the Peace Ross DeLay ruled it a death by own action. Funeral arrangements are pending with Maleoh Line Funeral Home. She is survived by her mother and two sisters, one residing in Lawton Oklahoma.
