Plans Completed For Blue Angels Air Show Appearance

Plans have been completed for the Gregg County Air Show featuring the world famous Blue Angels United States Navy Flight Demonstration Team in September. The one day event expects thousands of spectators and includes Rev I N Buchinal in a WWII P51 Mustang and the Sports Parachute Jump Team from Fort Hood along with several military and civilian displays.

General Telephone CWA reach three year wage pact

General Telephone Company of the Southwest and the Communications Workers of America announce a three year contract with about 16 percent first year wage and benefit increases. The package totals $7.5 million over the period with a third year wage reopener and ratification by CWA members in five states expected late August.
