Jesse E. Bair Dies at 49 War Veteran Is Remembered
Graveside services for Jesse Edgar Bair 49 were held at Gladewater Memorial Park with John Robinson of Worldwide Church of God officiating. He died on Sunday night at 10 at a local hospital after relocating from Baltimore 11 years ago. Gladewater Pony League All Stars coached by Cox Taylor and Jowell won the second round best of three against Lufkin to reach the final against Linden. In game one they lost 13 to 1 as Steven Choice scored the lone run. In game two Gladewater won 9 3 with Choice homering and scoring three. The decisive game in Kilgore ended 13 10 with Mullikin, Choice and Taylor driving the offense and Mullikin earning the win.
