A World War II Army half track from GM Sales Company in Gladewater will join Canada's National War Museum in Ottawa after being gifted to the government by Dallas resident D. F. MacLellan. Davis Named New Assistant Police Chief in Gladewater
Gladewater Police Chief Orris Morrow announced the appointment of Sgt. Jimmy Lynn Davis as assistant chief effective Sunday August 1. Davis, 32, has one year on the local force and six years in law enforcement, including four and a half years with Longview police. He is Maud Texas born, East Texas Police Academy graduate, National Guard veteran, married to Nancy McGuire of Sweetwater, with two sons Jimmy Jr and Richard. They reside in Mobile Village.
