Washington April 22 A Senate bill seeks to extend the presidential term from four to six years and bars any president from serving more than one term. Citizens write representatives and senators urging the constitutional change citing staggered campaigns and potential economic benefits expected every four years.
An 19th century patent remedy ad touts Electric Bitters as a tonic and purifier for stomach liver and kidneys. It claims relief from weakness nervousness and poor appetite following grip and guarantees satisfaction at six cents a bottle with druggists selling it.
