Stafford WAC, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Halbert Stafford of 317 S Hampden St Chardon, returns to the U S from Japan for release after 21 months as a stenographer in Tokyo. Stafford joined the Women’s Army Corps in May 1949.

The Geauga County unit of the Cancer Society re elected officers for another year at the Claridon Congregational church meeting.
