Elmore Reynolds Honored on Twenty-fifth Anniversary
Elmore Reynolds and his spouse were feted on their 25th wedding anniversary at the Burton home of Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Arnold with Mrs. Carl Reynolds assisting. About twenty relatives attended from 2 to 8 pm to offer congratulations. Cpl. Carl Reynolds, at Camp Atterbury, could not attend but called in. The couple received a silver tree-branch keepsake with silver coins and a mums bouquet, plus four large cakes iced with 25, coffee, ice cream, and candy refreshments.

Calf Vaccination Drive in Geauga County Shown Strong
Brucellosis control through calfhood vaccination covers 9104 calves in Geauga since 1947, nearly half the county cattle per 1950 census. 1175 herds participate, 92 percent of county herds. From Aug 31 1950 to Sep 1 1951, 215 calves vaccinated. Survey of 127 herds shows 1566 vaccinated calves with 669 of 692 calved normally and 23 abortions. Program cost 19316.78 over four years, funded by county commissioners and State Veterinarian.

Mrs Loveland 83 Rites Monday at Burr Funeral Home
Funeral services for Elizabeth Loveland 83 were held at Burr Funeral Home in Chardon on Monday November 26 at 2 pm. She died Saturday morning November 24 at her daughter’s home. She lived in Geauga and loved Pleasant Hill Methodist Church and community work. Surviving children include Flossie Wells Adah Clark and David Loveland. she leaves six grandchildren and a brother J B Walter. Burial followed at Pleasant Hill.
