Community Picnic at Bass Lake House Draws Big Crowd
The Bass Lake Club House hosted a Sunday picnic organized by the Men's Club with Roger Emmons as chairman and Bill Matthews in charge of entertainment. Attendees remained indoors yet stayed busy with games, water balloon tosses, weight guessing, and basket suppers. A canteen for teens began at the Bass Lake Club House with square dances and a scavenger hunt led by Mrs G H Kelsey and Mrs Mary Robbins. The teens plan to operate the canteen twice monthly throughout the summer. Four Munson girls are at Camp Yakech in Austinsburg this week: Sue Honeywell, Robert Snow, Susan Kelsey, and Diana Matthews. Cathy McGeough works as lifeguard at Hope Lake Camp in Michigan. Men’s Club of Munson notes.
