A county forest tour will be held on Saturday April 26 at 1 00 in the Don and Anna Husted Memorial Forest located about 2 12 miles south of Auburn corners on route 44. The public is invited and 250 pines will be planted by youth groups as a demonstration Christmas tree planting. Parking is at Kauffman farms Ernest Hall or Rudy Neighbor residences. The Memorial was dedicated in January by the County Commissioners to Geauga County youth for teaching woodland management and conservation. April is Conservation Month and the county 4 H Junior Leadership club sponsors the planting and tour.
