Dedicatory Services for New Meeting House and Hall
A large crowd attended the dedicatory services for the new meeting house and amusement hall led by Apostle Rodger Claweon and Stake President Milton H. Welling. The hall’s inaugural ball followed the arrival of the new piano and a grand dance scheduled for February 20 and Washington’s Birthday events on February 22. Modern Woodmen to Run Free Sanatorium for Members
At a Rock Island executive meeting the Modern Woodmen Society announced it will operate its aviatorium in Colorado Springs Colorado as a free tuberculosis sanatorium for members. The society has acquired 1380 acres near Colorado Springs and opened the first colony January 1 1909 with capacity for 60 patients.
