Gomes captures Beef Empire Days bareback title on unusual mount
Defending world champion Mark Gomes rode Smokeless Free Ride to an 83 point score, seizing the Beef Empire Days PRCA Rodeo bareback title. He earned 1566.88 dollars and extended a season hot streak as other events including calf roping and team roping produced winners like Chad Hiatt and the Goads. Rhonda Richardson and Tee Woolman also highlighted the rodeo.
