GCCC parts ways with long-time softball coach Terpstra
After 18 years at GCCC, Phil Terpstra declined a full-time head coach offer and was replaced by Trina Moquett. Athletics Director Bob Larson cited the need for a full-time recruiter as the reason, noting Terpstra would take an $11,000 pay cut. The Lady Brocabusters had set a school record with 39 wins but lost the Region 6 final to Seward County. Terpstra called the decision not about performance.
