Garden City Municipal Band Graces Stevens Park Summers
The Garden City Municipal Band, playing since 1879, draws hundreds to Friday summer concerts at Stevens Park. Conductor Bruce Spiller leads weekly free outdoor shows with Memorial Day, eight Friday performances, and a July Fourth concert at the band shell. Residents picnic, families gather, and lawn crowds fill Stevens Park each week.
