Getting a little bit of the Magic touch
Tammy Scheppner credits Magic's HOPE Therapeutic Horsemanship with helping her seven year old son Mark who has severe ADHD. The Garden City program uses horses and dogs to aid physical emotional and social well being in western Kansas. Founders include Sarah Kennington and Sara Brown with Pony Partners reading pairs Magic and Charlie of three hooves. The nonprofit emphasizes adapting activities to individual needs and building lasting relationships through therapeutic riding and canine therapy across schools nursing homes and communities.
