Tiffany Hernandez 26 was arrested at 3 25 p.m for theft by deception and giving a worthless check. Gabriel Andrade 47 was arrested at 2 30 p.m for theft and burglary. Daniel Gonzalez Herna 40 was arrested at 2 08 p.m on counts of unlawful use of a recording device two counts of counterfeiting and theft. Lisette Dominguez 21 was arrested at 2 08 p.m on a municipal warrant for failure to appear. Kristine Miles 30 was arrested at 1 56 p.m on mistreatment of a dependent adult two counts of theft theft by deception identity theft conspiracy to mistreat a dependent adult and forgery. Elizabeth Baker 56 was arrested at 1 56 p.m on related counts. Jason Baker 33 was listed at 1 56 p.m on additional charges.
Police logged multiple graffiti and break in incidents from Friday to Tuesday. Victims include Presto at 501 E Fulton St and Salon Primaveras at 3225 Prairie Ave. losses range from 20 to 900 dollars with several vehicle and residence damages noted. Additional spray painting occurred on bridges and buildings along West Olive Street Safford Avenue Long Boulevard Campus Drive and Fulton Street amid unlocked residence entries and window damage.
Between 5 p.m. Sunday and 7 a.m. Monday a thief stole an American flag, pole, and holder from The Antique and Comic Shoppe at 119 Grant Ave. Loss $70. Other incidents include a residential break in on B Street with electronics and currency taken, value $4,722 loss and $1,350 damage, a Conoco-Philips Food Mart gun demand, a YMCA window smash for $300 loss and $100 damage, a Walmart cell phone theft worth $100, a Conkling Avenue assault, and a North 12th Street shooting with no injuries reported. investigators continue on several cases. Juan Garibaldi, 37, was arrested on a detainer and probation violation allegation.
Scott County records show Gaspar Mendoza, 25, arrested on no license no insurance and disobeying a flashing light. The day included multiple emergency calls: smoke detector activation with no fire at 1703 Neil St, false alarm at 701 N Conkling Ave, vehicle fire at 1512 E St, gas leak at 300 S Main St Holcomb, injuring crash at 100 N Jones Ave Holcomb, and additional false alarms at 3101 N Belmont Place.
