Shankle Holiday Light Display Lights Up Garden City Area
The Shankle family in Lakin keeps a growing Christmas light display along Thomas Street near U S 50. Since 2004 the tradition brings relatives together each year to decorate in a shared family effort, even as life changes. Visitors along U S 50 in southwest Kansas can enjoy the festive sights and sounds this season.
