Police crack counterfeit $100 bill ring in Garden City
Garden City police report up to 11 counterfeit $100 bills tied to local businesses since mid November. An arrest was made by officers who say Chaston Tarwater, 20, was selling counterfeit notes. Five businesses reported receiving fake bills between November 14 and 16. Tarwater was found with two fake bills during a traffic stop, and three more counterfeit notes surfaced after his arrest.

City workers honored for quick rescue of children
