Holcomb council balks at higher school addition cost
Holcomb City Council members discuss a joint project with Holcomb USD 363 for adding to Holcomb High School. The latest estimate shows a $13,000 cap, up from $11,000, raising city cost from $5,500 to $6,500 due to moving the vault and site work. Council tabled the issue, awaiting a better figure. In other business, City Attorney Heydman proposes higher court costs to offset overtime, a plan to add $50 per trial when guilty, with no charge if acquitted, and to seek ordinance changes.
