Finney County sheriff reports arrests at various times including Ricardo Galvan 34 of San Antonio on fugitive and bench warrant charges, Sandalia Godinez Munoz 35 on battery, Zachary Cooper Huber 24 for failure to appear, Lyndee Marie Scott 36 of Great Bend for forgery and theft, and others with warrants or driving suspensions. Also noted a motor vehicle accident with injuries at East Spruce and US 50 Bypass and a good intent call at 511 Pennsylvania Ave.
Phil Sanderson, 55, faces charges of attempted second degree murder criminal threat and criminal damage after a May 4 incident where his mother Eileen Gibbs said he grabbed the wheel and drove into Tim and Jerr's Auto Sales causing over 14000 in damage. Gibbs said he threatened her and claimed to have hired gang members. Sanderson appeared with a public defender and a jury trial is set for Oct 27-29 in Finney County District Court.
