Death of Joel Pettigout in Elizabeth Township
Joel Pettigout, a well known resident of Elizabeth township, died Wednesday at his home. He was about 65, born in France and came to this country in 1877, settling on the farm where he died. He is survived by his wife, four sons and one daughter. Funeral Friday at nine o'clock in the morning.

The bride wore pink chiffon over taffeta and pink roses. the groom in black. About 100 guests from Chicago Genoa Janesville Galena and Warren attended. Afterward a wedding repast was served and the couple planned a Wisconsin trip before settling in Genoa Illinois after June 1.
