Murder charge follows discredited husband tale at Lehman home

Mrs. Lehman's funeral precedes a police inquiry that discredited her husband Fred Lehman. An affidavit filed by the prosecuting attorney charges him with murder. A 22 caliber revolver and an old knife found on the Lehman farm are cited as key evidence. Doctors report wounds to Lehman indicate contact with a sharp instrument and bullets entering from the front. He was held in Fulton County jail pending a Thursday hearing before Justice L. H. Deyo.
