Fulton County WCTU Convention Protest Bryan Campaigning

The annual Fulton County WCTU convention met in Wauseon September 24 and 25, electing officers and approving a protest to Secretary Bryan against his campaigning for Cox. Mrs. Romans addressed the gathering on temperance work, urging action statewide and in Fulton County.

Mrs C S Spillane dies in Buffalo widow long a Wauseon neighbor

Mrs C S Spillane died at her Buffalo home and was brought to Wauseon for funeral services held at the Congregational church. A pioneer of Fulton county she moved to Chesterfield in 1835 and lived near Wauseon since 1858. Known for a gentle spirit and active temperance work with W C T. Many old friends attended.

Postmaster Outcast Replaced in Wauseon by Emil Weber

Emil Weber assumes duties as Wauseon postmaster replacing J. F. Outcast who has served eight and a half years. The change follows Outcast’s reception of a commission from Woodrow Wilson and a town banquet to honor outgoing and incoming chiefs.
