Delta Robbery Recalls Finney Seer of Delta Victim of Hold-Up
S B Finney a 75 year old root and herb doctor in Delta was held up last Friday by three men in his Wood street office. They bound and gagged him with a red bandanna and straps, stole $6000, and escaped in a Dodge toward Toledo. Blondel Finney’s helper was forced to face the wall. Sheriff Ford has a description of the three suspects, believed by Finney to be members of the bandit party. two men formerly lived in Delta and are thought to have driven away.

Auto accident injures Latehaw family near Gar mor Corners
A Defiance family riding with Mr. A d Latehaw were hurt when their car failed to navigate a turn east of town. The vehicle went over an embankment causing severe damage and injuries to a youth. A tourist aided the party to a local home for care as a garage towed the wrecked car. A corn show by the Gleaners is planned at Ottokee’s Gleaners Hall next Tuesday.
