She had spent six years with Borckenhausen phoné company and was active in her church and workplace. Her funeral in Wauseon followed a memory segment by Rev George Wiltse.

There are scores of splendid young women in Fulton County who are free and capable of entering a training course in civil or military hospitals. Nursing is a phase of the war activity that should interest every community. To our knowledge there are but three or four from Fulton County in service or training. Miss Stella Fryska at Fort Stephens Oregon. Miss Blanche Stacey a Toledo graduate has volunteered for service in France. Miss Norma Whiteman is in training in Cleveland.
