Ohio in June curbs eased as extended free areas cover larger parts of the state. Order No 24 amended by the Ohio Agricultural Commission designates Hamilton, Lorain and Medina as restricted, with major stock yards listed as restricted zones while other areas become free barring on farm quarantine forms and premises still under quarantine constraints.
The Wauseon Poultry and Pet Stock Association plans a combined grain show with the poultry display, offering cash prizes and no entry fee for grain displays. In the Court of Common Pleas the William A Walter et al versus Nancy Walter administrator et al case to set aside late John Walter’s will concluded after three days of testimony. July 5th is a legal holiday with all Wauseon businesses closed.
The Toledo Baptist Association met over Tuesday and Wednesday in Wauseon with 127 pastors and delegates present from Williams Fulton Lucas Delphine Delph De lrance Miss and Wood counties. Officers elected include Rev. F. Smalley president Rev. T. Erler vice president Rev. E C Shumaker secretary treasurer and department directors plus an executive board named. Seven resolutions urged efficiency, home and foreign missions, denominational papers, Dennison University support, Sunday School literature, and church loyalty to Ohio dry laws and the ballot.
Wauseon shows total property valuation of 926,230 for 1915, up from 827,207 last year, a 12 percent gain. Per capita value stands at 308 with a population around 3,000, reflecting steady growth and strong railroad and business opportunities.
