In Delta County notices list real estate transfers from Wade Whitworth to Harry C Frogtay and many other parcels in Clinton German and Dover townships. Also names of 1914 federal income tax filing requirements, penalties, and public court actions including marriages and probates.
Ohio and Fulton County cooperate with the American Relief Commission to send food and clothing to Belgium where seven million people face starvation. The Ohio Commission, led by Col. J. G. Battelle and E. R. Sharp, coordinates shipments, with Rockefeller backing transport. A February 1 meeting in Columbus outlines county-level organizing and a film event promoting temperance and relief work.
A community meeting in Fulton county is urged to fund relief for starving Belgians. Emphasizing milk and non perishable foods, organizers cite accounts from the Saturday Evening Post and Will Irwin. The drive asks churches clubs and fraternal groups to contribute funds or supplies and to ship aid at once. Revival meetings begin January 18 at the Church of the Brethren led by Rev. Fulton County Pomona Grange met January 23 at Grange Hall with good attendance despite the weather. Plans for a countywide grange education drive in February were outlined. A discussion on industrial schooling urged domestic science and manual training in rural schools. E. P. Ames led the meeting. Prize winners from partridge Wyandottes shows in Wauseon, Eden, Maumee, and Bryan were reported with top pens and high scores. The February horticultural society meeting was canceled because of sickness. Irma Sharp presiding. Herbert S. Sheley announces a clinic at Dr. Cole’s office February 2 in Toledo.
