Fares Reduced For Farmers Week By Central Association

Attempted Robbery at Pettisville

Otto Staufer a wayfarer with relatives in Blutt ton Ohio attempted to enter the New York Central ticket office at Pettisville at noon last Thursday. He broke a pane of glass but was discovered before entry and taken into custody, jailed Saturday afternoon. Staufer claimed two years in Ohio Penitentiary from Lima for burglary, and the sheriff suspects the Pettisville bid for board was staged to gain winter lodging. Sheriff Ford has three inmates in the county jail.

Expansion of Wasco High School discussed by education board

The Board of Education and the district's architect met at the High Sehvel buildings to review plans for a new Wasco High School.
