Annual Meeting of Farm Bureau in county held
About 275 farmers and wives attended the annual meeting at the county house on Wednesday January. Officers elected include C. L. Shreves as president and Jacob Zeigler as vice president with Harmon Gazsehe as secretary. Directors from townships were chosen and delegates named for the Farm Bureau Federation meeting in Columbus. Meetings are planned for February and March to continue farm bureau work.

Dr. J B Kreintome Arp urged rural education reform and a new High School building while Board President E G Cole outlined two paths. Mrs Cora Bell Miller Harper wife of William J Harper of Watsoon died January 26, 1921 after a long illness. Born November 20, 1862 in Delta Ohio, she sang in the Methodist Choir, united in marriage in Chesterton Indiana, and later moved to Watsoon. Survived by husband F R Harper daughter Flossie Harper two grandchildren three siblings and many friends. Funeral thanks from family express deep gratitude for kindness and flowers.

Steve Muzzle known as Cowboy Hil received a one to five year term in the Ohio State Penitentiary after pleading guilty in Toledo Common Pleas Court to hay burglar tools possession. His attorney suggested prison medical care would be better than Toledo jail. Burglary Suspect Returned to Penitentiary After Capture
Otis Spee broke into the county jail on Thursday January 20 and, after an attempted break in at Pettisville, was taken into custody by a Deputy Warden and returned to the Ohio penitentiary. Sheriff Ford reported Stauffer’s capture. Stauffer had prior burglary conviction in Lima and served two years before parole. He allegedly attempted robbery again and is back in prison to complete his term.
