The Northwestern Ohio and Southern Michigan Telephone Companies held their annual meeting and banquet at the Avery Inn Friday afternoon at 1:00. About members attended besides The Wauseon news crews. The association covers Na icheun Defiance Edgerton West Unity Bryan Payette Wauseon Ashbold Swanton Delta Lyons Dunnamora Ohio and Morenci Adrian Michigan. Dr. Luthmy of Swanton acted as toastmaster and speakers from Swanton West Unity Delta Bryan and others discussed cyclone damage, service improvements, and company cooperation to better meet public demand.

Oak Shade Store Robbed Near Toledo
The Bates and Sharpe Grocery Store at Oak Shade was robbed early Sunday. About $50 in cash was taken after the front door was forced and the safe blown open with nitroglycerine. A pocket bank with around $100 lay in the car and small change scattered on the floor. The safe held endorsed checks and about $15 to $20 in the register. No suspects yet.
