Governmental Extravagance and House Housing Waste
A 1919 report discusses Senate action on a joint resolution to cease wartime programs, shift housing duties to the Housing and Transit Bureau, and reduce staff. It notes the bureau employed about 34 in Washington and 108 in the field, with salaries raised for 24 officials by amounts between 1800 and 4098 dollars, urging immediate consolidation of functions and transfer of remaining work to the janissary Department to save costs.

The car was found to belong to Mr Mann and Fulton County officials noted the theft. The suspect Mark Skeffington of Toledo was arraigned before Justice Deyo and remanded to the sheriff until Friday for further appearance. The car now requires extensive costly repairs.
