The 26th annual meeting of the Building Association League of Illinois opened in Danville with over a hundred delegates. President J N C Shumway presided at Elk's hall as visitors received the freedom of the city. Papers on building and loan topics were presented this afternoon and officers and next meeting site will be chosen tomorrow.
Boston October 19 special report announces the Republican Club of Massachusetts annual dinner at Symphony Hall. The event will ratify the state ticket with Secretary of the Navy Bonaparte as a guest speaker, joined by Senator Lodge and Lieutenant-Governor Guild in a major Republican oratory evening.
