Georgia honors Chickamauga heroes with new monument

Chattanooga May 4 special Georgia dedicated a handsome monument to commemorate Georgians who fought at Chickamauga. Gen H V Boynton, chairman of the Chickamauga Chattanooga park commission, Governor Chandler and other Georgians took part in the ceremonies.

Lodge Elects Its Officers in Rock Island May 3 1901

Illinois Grand lodge of United Workmen visited Rock Island arsenal at 8 this morning. After a long session to finish business, officials announced Danville as next meeting site in May 1901.
