Dr Evans testified he learned Thaws unsound mind from conversations during three visits and the judge adjourned proceedings. Grand jury indictments issued in Lebanon Ky against four newspapers for printing offensive Thaw trial material.
Lexing ton dated February 14 report says four men face the gallows tomorrow if clemency fails. Two are sentenced for criminal assault and two for murder. Guy Lyon and W R Fletcher among the assault group to be hanged at Russellville, Ben Huffaker for murder, and Jesse Fitzgerald a Black man to be hanged at London Laurel County.
London February 14 fifty six women suffragists arrested near parliament for disorderly conduct and resisting police chose prison terms of two to four weeks rather than pay fines.

A rear end crash of Chicago Great Western freight trains No. 60 near Pearl City Illinois killed Daniel B. Koontz of Stoyesville Pa and injured several stock buyers and train crew. The three section eastbound train plowed into the caboose, killing Koontz as others escaped and injuring engineer Carney and several stockmen. Traffic remained on the line despite the wreck, with coroner W B Peck and a jury later impaneled. Koontz carried cash and depositors' notes among his effects.
Local contractors plan major storefront upgrades at Fry building corner of Stephenson and Chicago streets for Wmn. O. Wright Clothing. A single eight foot door will replace the current corner entry with a six to eight foot vestibule and new glasswork including prism and plate glass. Additional front work at Mellnick store merges two rooms into a larger confectionery and ice cream space.
A. M. Bobb and Miss Eva Bowers of Orangeville wed today in Dakota with Rev. Halloway of the M. I. church officiating. The couple will reside on the Evane farm near Cedarville.
