The Daylight Addition at NeuBurger's is under construction and larger than any Freeland store. To clear space for renovations including a lowered floor new windows and fixtures, all departments are slashed in price in a massive selling event across clothing shoes dry goods hats cloaks trunks valises and notions.
Old-time catalog style advertises black and white stripe heavy drilling shirts, blue duck overalls, coats with pockets, and a vast array of Men’s and Boys’ suits. It touts low prices, fabric details, multiple sizes, and guaranteed none ripping pants, urging buyers to shop the sale for bargains across suits, overalls, and pants.
A local advertisement promotes heavy discounts on textiles including 2,500 yards Camden mills extra heavy unbleached muslin at 5¢ per yard, 2,000 yards fine dress goods at 5¢, 25c summer dress goods at 15¢, and fine cashmeres and chevrons cut to 25¢ per yard. Also offered are 4oc two-yard wide bleached table linen, seersucker at 10¢, and embroideries from 8¢ per yard, with various lace, lawns, and nainsooks included in the sale.
A catalog of women’s apparel and linens features shirt waists in lawn and percales at fractions of original prices, silk waists halved, bleached pillow cases six cents, wrappers and undergarments marked down by 25 percent, ready-to-use sheets and cases offered at low prices, plus mercerized skirts and nightgowns with embroidery and trim discounted.
The advertisement lists Linen finished handkerchiefs at 2 cents, Bedford-cord shirts at 75 cents, Madras summer shirts at 50 cents, black corduroy stockings at 15 cents a pair, Florodora four in hands ties at 25 cents, shield bows at 10 cents, oil grain tap sole shoes at 1.50, satin calf lace shoes at 1.50, patent oxfords at 1.75, Misses patent leather oxfords at 1.00, and ladies patent leather oxfords with men’s shirts reduced to 29 cents for broken lots, all from a promotional sale of multiple furnishing items.
Men's and Boys Hats and Caps reduced 33 percent. Japanese silk band hats 50c. Straw hats 25c. Caps for children in latest styles. Ladies fine patent leather oxfords cut to 1.75 per pair. Children's Dongola spring heel shoes reduced to 0.50 per pair.
