Cole son of Mr and Mrs David J Nedrow of Ludlowville has been promoted to Assistant Surgeon General in the U S Public Health Service He will oversee Federal health programs in Pennsylvania Maryland Delaware Virginia West Virginia and the District of Columbia Cole, a 1943 Cornell and 1948 University of Rochester graduate, began service in 1949 and has held multiple regional posts.
