Firemen’s Fair Aims to Fund New Hector Station
Valois Logan Hector Volunteer Fire Co. plans a 1971 Firemen’s Fair at Ball Diamond to raise funds for the new all steel station near Route 414. Events July 29 to 31 include a kiddies night, a firemen parade, chicken barbecue, and fireworks with prizes, skydiving acts, and community room use. Proceeds finance a $75,000 facility completed in 1969 and ongoing training and fundraising.
