Lodi Olde Tyme Days Earn Big Local Crowd
Lodi Firemen and Auxiliary hosted Olde Tyme days July 1 to 3 with sunny weather, a brief wind storm, and an Ovid Sky Diving Club exhibition. Parade prizes went to Veterans organization Manning Lilla Post 463 Ovid and other groups. raffles awarded a tape player to Evelyn Hungerford and prizes to Viv McMillian and John P. Houck. A hand-made organ was donated for a raffle.

In the Send A Boy To Camp contest area Clover Farm markets tallied all entries. Stanley McCheyne won at Swicks Clover Farm Store Lodi with 5160 points, second Bob Rapalee 4080 points winning an Agromatic Camera, third Mike Brinkerhoff with a leather wallet. Winners depart August 20 for ten days at Camp Pathfinder Algonquin Park Ontario. Jerry Waid and Dale Updike won Interlaken totals 6990 and 6670. Joseph Keeler and Mike Perry won Ovid Clover Farm entries.

July 8 outing at the Trumansburg Fair included 17 Lakeside Nursing Home residents and volunteers. They toured midway rides, viewed exhibits, ate a picnic lunch, and watched horse races. Flag Burning Ceremony Planned by American Legion Post 462
Interlaken American Legion Post 462 urges residents to drop damaged flags at Pritchard's garage for pickup. A flag burning ceremony is set for Legion Hall on Tuesday July 27 at 7 p.m. The annual Legion Picnic follows on Friday July 30 at 5 p.m. at the north end of Taughannock State Park. Bring a dish to pass.
