Record Enrollment At 45th Annual Boy Scout Camporee
Local Boy Scouts and Explorers helped the Louis Agassiz Fuertes Council reach a record enrollment of 1120 for two nights at the 45th Camporee on Chestnut Ridge near Slaterville. Highlights included a giant Campfire, Catholic and Protestant services, a Jewish meeting, water safety display, fly and bait casting, and a Scout Field Sports program with 130 patrols.
