Groton Pool Offers Wide Range of Swim Classes
Over 150 enroll in Groton Municipal Pool instruction with 10 teachers led by Roberta Anthony and Nancy Payne. They supervise about 100 beginners and 40 to 50 advanced learners, plus seven in the Red Cross Life Saving class and eight in Water Safety. A lifeguard duo Mona Webster and Amoret Jones oversee beginners as they chant while entering the water.
