Local residents including Clyde Mettler improve, while others such as Mrs. Louella Mace and Mrs. Lavern Borning seek treatment. A new baby, Peter Alan Hitchcock, arrived in North Syracuse, with grandparents Robert Hitchcock. Funeral notices honor Fred W. Simpson of Mexico, NY, a retired Syracuse high school teacher. Community activities include South Seneca sports victories, basketball talents from Interlaken alumni, and Cantata rehearsals at the Baptist Church with planned hymn sing and charity sewing for India.
