Edward Schmidt Killed When Hit By Truck
Edward R. Schmidt 77 was killed instantly Tuesday at 9 15 am when struck crossing W San Antonio near South Lincoln in downtown Fredericksburg. The truck driven by Ernst Hannemann of Woerner Warehouse was northbound. Hannemann said a steering snap occurred as he rounded a curve, Schmidt appeared and the truck could not be controlled. Death was instantaneous. investigators and an examining trial followed.

Bridge Across Live Oak Creek to be funded and built

Lions Club Weighs Moving Courthouse Park Christmas Tree
