Zimmermann Rites Held for Fredericksburg Pioneer
Otto Zimmermann died after a lingering illness at Fredericksburg on Monday December 8 aged 71 years 8 months. Funeral services were held Tuesday December 9 by Father Fellmann with interment in City Cemetery. He was born April 8, 1859 in Fredericksburg, moved to San Antonio at age six, returned in 1907, and married Lina Hahn. Survived by widow and four children Emilie Davis Max Annie and George Zimmermann.

Santa Visits Fredericksburg Draws Large Crowd
Santa Claus visited Fredericksburg on Saturday December 6 by invitation of the Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce and hosted about two thousand two hundred children and adults.
