Late Summer Orchard Care For San Jose Scale
The peach season ends soon but orchard duties remain. Inspect trees for San Jose scale and treat with lime sulfur solution on trunks and branches, avoiding foliage. Dormant oil spray in winter provides better control. Maintain summer cultivation to support next year’s crop and tree vigor. Add protein mineral supplements to hog feed for faster gains.
