Pentecost Day and the Spirit’s Work in Acts
The lesson explains Pentecost as a divine observance foreshadowed in Leviticus with the Spirit’s descent on the apostles. It notes the disciples’ unity, the Apostles speaking in many tongues, and Jew crowds from many nations hearing God’s works. Peter clarifies the event as a sample of Joel’s prophecy, urging readiness for a future fuller fulfillment when Christ returns.
